Came back from camp on the usual nights off...gotta return at 11 pm...but had the sudden inspiration to come up here and write what i did today. I read this book called "Rich Dad Poor Dad," in which co-author Robert speaks about how he had two dads, a rich one, and an educated one, and both were trying to conform him to their way of thinking. Robert eventually picked the rich dad, and today, he is a retired successful investor and entrepreneur, at the age of 47! Wow...imagine that...Reading through all the 266 pages of his book gave me new insights into life...I think I'm definitely considering a new career path. Apart from that, it was a long and draggy day...staying in the garage the whole day. Thankfully I had the book as companion. Well, there's nothing much more that happened today, except that when I returned to the office after closing the garage, I found out that my Battery Commander, Cpt. Dave, had given the whole battery a long weekend this Saturday. This did not seem like his doing, but when I asked around for the reason, Jeremy Goh (a specialist) said that Dave gave the LWE because he knew the battery's morale was low (how true!). Still, its not something he would ordinarily do, and I expect things to be much worse now that he's coming back from his CTC course on the 17th of this month...
